I messed up :)

Issue Number: #060
Date: 14 March 2024
Reading Time: 3 minutes

Firstly, I must apologise for not sending a newsletter last week. As you know, I was busy with two live webinars and simply lost track of time. When on Saturday (yep, it took me so long!) I finally realised that I didn't send newsletter out, I decided to leave it until today. I'm truly sorry for the mix-up.

But that is not the only mess I created. I wish I could say that it is. But nope.

As you know, in January, I started a new approach to writing the newsletter, and today I'd like to look back at how it went. The results are mixed. Some people enjoy the in-depth "teaching" style where I delve deep into a topic and explain step by step how to do something.

However, others complained or stopped opening the newsletter because it was too detailed and focused on teaching rather than offering simple reflections and tips for leading a better life, as originally advertised.

So, I've decided to scrap that approach immediately.

But don't worry if you enjoyed the deeper teachings – I'll be offering them in a separate newsletter! This new newsletter will be more focused on complex tools of change, diving deep into specific topics of personal growth, with one topic often spanning over several weeks. And you will be able to request future subjects too. It will be like a free email-based personal growth academy.

This newsletter, as of today, returns to provide quick life improvement tips. It will be more reflection-based, concentrating on my experiences throughout the week and the tools I used to resolve whatever came my way.

This way, both types of readers can enjoy content that suits their preferences.

Next week, I'll share details about subscribing to the new newsletter, where I'll continue discussing the creation of Life Vision and Life Map from where we left off two weeks ago.

Quick Growth Tip:

Now, here's a quick tip for improving your life: don't worry if you make a mistake or mix something up. Own it, learn from the experience, and use that knowledge moving forward. Treat it as a learning opportunity rather than a failure. This mindset can free you from the fear of messing up or making mistakes in the future.

To mess up is human!

It happens to everyone, including myself as you can see from what happened with the newsletter. If you're always worried about making mistakes, you'll never try anything new. Trust me, it's better to give new things a go and discover they might not be the best approach. This way, you'll gain valuable information that you can use for the rest of your life.

So, remember this: If something doesn't go as planned, don't worry too much about it. Just use the insight to pivot and improve. It's from the mistakes that we grow, not when everything goes without hiccups.

That's all from me today. Have a great rest of your Thursday and if you have a bit of time, I would appreciate your opinion on all of this.
