Hello

Welcome back to the Growing Tree of Life, our weekly exploration of personal growth and well-being.
Trees floating in the air with soil carved around the roots to spell the word GROW.

Hello :)

Issue Number: #058
Date: 22 February 2024
Reading Time: 3 minutes

First, let me apologise! Last week, I promised that today we'll explore the art of crafting a LifeMap—a roadmap, a plan to bring your Life Vision to life.

We will come to the step-by-step details next week. But I realised that first we have to discuss something else.

What do we want from our life?

Or, let's be more personal, what do YOU want from YOUR life?

In our journey of self-discovery and growth, we've delved into topics like finding your purpose, understanding your values, and crafting a vision for your future.

You know from our previous newsletters that I'm passionate about helping you uncover your true purpose and live authentically. In the past few issues (#054 - #057), we've discussed different ways of self-reflection, identifying core values, and crafting a life vision.

But we never really went into why. What difference does it make if you have or don't have a life visionor life plan?

From my experience, the main difference is what happens in your future. And it's not just about looking forward with anticipation or apprehension. It's more about being either aimless or intentional.

Taking things one day at a time seems to be such a good advice. But if you are on a boat without rudder with every passing day the likelihood of some disaster is increasing towards certainty. Being swept by external factors means that sooner rather than later we crash into an obstacle that can not only rock our life boat, it may actually sink it.

Therefore, the main benefit of having a purpose and mission is not a clarity. A purpose- and mission-based Life Plan is a tool to steer the boat of your life in whatever direction you prefer.

So what do you want from your life? Do you want to be controlled by people, things, and events. Or do you want to be the one who creates and amends situations?

The BiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiG announcement

Let me tell you, having a Life Plan was not something that happened overnight for me. It's a constant work-in-progress; it took dedication, self-reflection, and a lot of trial and error. But now, it's one of the cornerstones of my journey towards a fulfilling life.

A Life Plan is more than just a list of goals or aspirations; it's a roadmap that guides my decisions, actions, and priorities. It's about knowing who I am, what I stand for, and where I want to go.

It's not that every step I take is intentional. I still procrastinate. I still mess up. I am human, you know.

But when I do things right, they are all aimed in certain direction. And taking thousands steps in one direction beats thousand steps wandering in a circle every time. It's like having a compass that keeps me on track, even when the path ahead seems uncertain.

So, even with all the mess I make along the way, my life is aligned with my values and goals. That's the power of having a Life Plan.

But I won't keep you in suspense any longer. I'm thrilled to announce that I'll be hosting a live webinar titled "Find Your Purpose." I had a webinar on my Life Path Map for quite a long time (along with an online course and other things which are yet to come).

And on 7 March I will be hosting the first of many webinars. For me it's going to be a game-changer. This webinar isn't just about listening to me talk; I believe that it is an amazing opportunity for me to help more people to transform their lives.

Maybe not on the first one. Okay, most likely not on the first one. It will be my first, so I am not expecting it to be "perfect" (whatever that means). But even so, I am certain that it will bring those who attend a lot. Sometimes all we need to move from one level to another is just a few extra bonus points. And I will share a lot of those.

I'll dive deep into practical tools, there will be guided exercise, downloadable .pdf templates and I will host a Q&A discussion. Anyway, if you want to check the details, head over to It's Time To Be Me (https://ItsTimeToBe.Me).

I* must say, that I am excited about it. The webinar is going to be such a different experience than our newsletters. Here I am writing to you, trying to guess the tone to use and how to best convey the message. The webinar will be an opportunity to connect with the participants in real-time, to explore together, and to support each other on our individual paths to fulfilment.

So, if you're curious about what the webinar will entail just go to It's Time To Be Me (https://ItsTimeToBe.Me) to learn more.

And if you will go there, I would be so grateful if you could email me to let me know what you think about the webinar and the page. Your feedback is invaluable as I continue to refine and improve my offerings to better serve those I am called to serve.
As always, a big thank you for being a part of the Growing Tree of Life community .
Together, let's continue to grow, learn, and thrive.

See you next Thursday!
